EP5: HUGE OPPORTUNITIES OF RENEWABLE ENERGY IN URBAN AREAS | HNVLOGJuni 12, 2023
One of the primary agendas of Cop26 summit is to phase out coal or gas fire powered plants – Alp is here to deliver on that promise.
When the energy demand spikes above the normal level, high polluting power plants, known as “Peakers”, fire up in large cities. The past decade has witnessed billions of taxpayers’ money going into keeping these polluting plants running, exacerbating the quality of air and health. Replacing them with a localised renewable energy generation and battery storage can deliver a long-needed transition if we want to achieve our vision net zero vision.
Alp can push boundaries of clean technology, providing power to 40,000 homes and delivering clean energy to 1200 acres of agricultural land. Our ground-breaking energy storage system is creating limitless possibilities in the world of renewables. M-BRIC coupled with solar can reduce carbon emissions, lower energy bills, improve air quality, and deliver an AI- and IoT enabled system to deter climate impact.
Solar and wind plants can produce sufficient energy to run an entire country. However, most plants lack energy storage. Any energy produced is distributed to the grid straight away, and during overproduction, the government pays renewable energy companies to cut off their supply to the grid. M-BRIC has solved this problem.
