In order to fight Climate Change, we need to stop using fossil fuels and decarbonize our electrical grid by deploying renewable energy such as solar and wind. The issue though is that this will not be enough by itself. If we allow our energy usage to grow in the same way that it has over the last 50 years then we will run out of land space for solar in only 300 years!
The only good answer to these issues is to reassess how we use energy and drastically reduce it. Luckily, there are many things which we can do at home immediately in order to contribute to this goal. And of course, we’ll have to keep voting as much as possible to not only shut down fossil fuel usage, but to also limit our usage of all energy regardless of which source it comes from.
