‘Absolute recreation changer’: Australia is usually a ‘renewable power superpower’

Environment and Water Minister Tanya Plibersek says Australia can be a “renewable energy superpower” if it is able to get to the front of the pack on hydrogen.

“We know that other countries are investing in their own domestic hydrogen industries … we’re in a competition for global investment in hydrogen,” Ms Plibersek told Sky News Australia.

“If we can produce it in a way that is carbon neutral, we’ve got the world at our feet.

“Australians know that this can be an absolute game changer for us.”
