CaLas Project: Carbon Credits for Sustainable Land Use Systems (Dec 2011)

The project Carbon Credits from Sustainable Land Use Systems (CaLas) assessed the potential of organic agriculture for soil carbon sequestration and for generating carbon credits from sustainable land use systems. The outcome of CaLas is discussed in the context of sustainable agricultural practices, the carbon markets and climate friendly farming practices for smallholder communities in the global South.
