Here, Dr. Allen Williams says diligence is important before signing any contract regarding your farm because there might just be a better option coming down the pike. You wouldn’t sign away your mineral or water rights without careful thought – and your carbon is just as valuable!
As more and more science comes in proving that farmers can impact their local communities and the health of our nation, we think they deserve to be recognized for their contributions.
There’s good folks out there to be sure – but just like any market, you have to be careful. We’re only just learning how to measure how valuable working with nature can be!
