Ecowatt – Enabling funding in blank power, inexperienced bonds and carbon credit

Awareness of the impact that human-caused carbon emissions are making to the global climate is growing exponentially, and with it a collective realisation that we need to take steps to reduce and offset these emissions, whether as individuals or as corporates.

Ecowatt is a renewable energy company that is accelerating change by expanding their asset portfolio of solar, wind and geothermal energy plants, while also enabling retail and corporate investment into these projects using green bonds. 25% of the net revenue generated by these projects is then being used to fund Ecowatt’s social impact projects, enabling the creation of and investment in carbon credits. With over 250,000 trees already planted, Ecowatt’s goal is to replant up to 100 million trees by 2025.

The goal is to provide investors with an opportunity to use their money to accelerate change while simultaneously generating returns on their investment. Furthermore, Ecowatt’s purpose is to provide corporates and institutional investors with a simple and effective solution to manage their transition to renewable energy and offsetting their carbon emissions.
