GE Renewable Power completes Merkur offshore windfarm set up

GE Renewable Energy have announced the successful installation of the last Haliade 150-6MW offshore wind turbine at the 396MW #Merkur Offshore Windfarm in #Germany. Located approximately 35 km north of the island of Borkum, in the North Sea, it will become one of the largest German offshore windfarms, generating approximately 1,750 GWh annually to power 500,000 households. #renewableenergy
