Gulf international locations make investments billions in renewable power

Gulf countries are investing billions of dollars in renewable energy resources.

Qatar has built the largest solar technology manufacturing facility in the region.

Qatar, one of the world’s top natural gas producers, plans to convert two percent of its power output to renewable sources by 2020.

Environmentalists say it is a step in the right direction but tangible progress is still many years away.
