Groasis BV is a Dutch company that sells the Waterboxx. Groasis wants to cause the reforestation of the 2 billion hectares wasteland, before 2050, with the Waterboxx.
The Waterboxx is an intelligent bucket, or a water battery, which helps you plant trees, shrubs, or vegetables using 90% less water. On average, it delivers a 90% survival rate of the saplings / seedlings that you’ve planted. Due to the favorable micro-climate that it creates, it also usually increases the growth speed by 15-300%.
The design of our latest generation Waterboxx has a twin opening, which allows you to plant 1 or 2 trees per planting cycle. The average planting cycle takes 12 months, and we have many customers who have been reusing the Waterboxx for 10 years.
Each Waterboxx can be reused year after year to plant up to 20 trees with just 1 Waterboxx, for ecosystem restoration, agroforestry, beautification, remediation management, or carbon credits.
