RTE and the Chantiers de l’Atlantique – Hitachi Power consortium signal contract for provide of onshore and offshore HVDC converter stations

Hitachi Energy and Chantiers de l’Atlantique have signed a €4.5 billion framework agreement with RTE for the supply of offshore and onshore HVDC converter stations to enable the integration of more than 3.5 GW of renewable energy from wind farms in Normandy and Oléron.
