A number of regional and national carbon programs aim to impact climate change by working with forest landowners. This webinar highlighted two available programs that offer varying incentives for the private landowner. Conservation districts are well positioned to help make private forest landowners aware of emerging program opportunities.

This webinar was a part of the NACD Forestry Resource Policy Group’s fall webinar series on Nov. 18, 2021. Presenters included Elizabeth Vranas, Director of National Implementation for the Family Forest Carbon Program of the American Forest Foundation, and Kathryn Morse, Landowner Success Manager at Natural Capital Exchange (NCX).
